The next few photographs were taken of the speakers at the Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. on May 14, 2007.  We've got great pictures because the photographer was sick that day and Randall Rice was asked to do the honors that day.

There's a new DEMOCRATIC Congress in town. Patrick Murphy, freshman,  PA

Yes, it's me, Hillary.

Okay, Hill, enough already.

Sen Chuck Hagel speaks at Boy Scout Reception. For a little bit, he would be a DEM.

The next few pictures were taken while we were lobbying on the Hill for working families. We could not get an audience with our own representative, Marsha Blackburn. Some of our group also visited with John Tanner, Lincoln Davis, and John Duncan also.

Even with "sensible" shoes on, D.C. is a big place.  Just one more block!

There were a host of politicians who spoke at the Day of Action rally on May 17, 2007.  All of them were invited, but only  Democrats showed up---those who were not ashamed to stand with the people who made this country great---the American workforce.  Here are some of their pictures.

Congresswoman Corrine Brown of Florida

Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York

Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts

Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary fame

Sen. Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, what a pistol!

Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa

Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio

Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton of the District of Columbia

Three were several thousand at the Day of Action rally in Washington, D.C.  This was a protest of the Bush administration's assault on working families.  A picture is worth a thousand words.    Train up a child in the way she should go, and when she is old, she will not depart from it.

A sea of blue all the way back to the Washington Monument.  George Bush, can you hear us now?!!

Now what kind of Dem would I be if I didn't do my share of protestin'?
